Team Orange Summer is a great time for fun, but that doesn ’ t necessarily mean a vacation for our OC Parks and Recreation Department. In fact, summer means they are busier than ever with activities, projects, and facility maintenance. In this month ’ s edition of OC Insight, we learn about recent special events, get an update on advancements in our parks projects, and learn a little bit about the team that makes it possible. While you ’ re reading about what OCPR has been up to this summer, we also showcase Extension ’ s TACO camp, the Orange County Fair and other summertime adventures. Please stay safe, cool and hydrated during these hot summer days. I hope each one of you does get to take some time off to chill out. Learning to recharge your batteries by taking time away from work is part of developing a resilient you, and that leads to a stronger team! Ted
