SBA Export and Trade Assistance SBA provides small businesses with the resources needed to expand into trading and exporting. Export products U.S. Export Assistance Centers (USEACs) Will teach you about the exporting process at centers across the country. Export Finance Managers Speak directly with a small business exporter in your area. Additional resources include the Minnesota District Export Council (DEC) and the Minnesota Trade Office. SCORE SCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential business mentoring services to prospective and established small business owners. SCORE mentors are experienced business professionals who volunteer their time to help others start and grow their own businesses. SCORE offers free, confidential small business mentoring for startup and existing businesses. In Minnesota there are five SCORE chapters that serve business owners. These chapters operate branches in smaller communities. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE programs include: • Take a Workshop - live and recorded webinars, interactive courses on demand and in-person, local workshops from industry leaders and mentors on a variety of business topics. • Browse the Library - free business templates, eguides, checklists, blogs, videos or other helpful resources. WOMEN OWNED BUSINESS ASSISTANCE Women's Business Centers (WBC)s - The SBA partners with WBCs around the country to provide training, counseling, and resources to women-owned businesses. Find a Women's Business Center in your area. Women’s Business Development Center – Minnesota (WBDC-MN) - Serves Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) in Minnesota and neighboring states.
