Tor Vergata is ranked #3 among Italian universities for Internationalization
Tor Vergata has been named by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024 as the top university in Rome and the third institution in Italy for its internationalization policy. This remarkable accomplishment brings to light once again our university’s strong commitment to internationalization. Over the past few years, we have made substantial investments in international cooperation to promote and develop inclusivity
partnerships with universities and research institutions all across the world. Within the framework of international cooperation activities, Tor Vergata University of Rome focuses on research plans to advance education and knowledge, promoting transnational and interdisciplinary projects. In the last three EU multiyear budgets, our university has managed over 280 projects, including 97 from the FP7 program, 115 from Horizon 2020, 32 from the current Horizon Europe, and 7 Erasmus
and integration, reduce inequality, and enhance sustainability.
