La nouvelle bretelle s'inscrit dans le pro- jet d'élargissement de l'autoroute 417 en- tre la rue Nicholas et la route 174 d'Ottawa à l'endroit communément appelé «la fourche». Elle comporte une barrière de béton permanente qui empêche les entrecroise- ments entre l'autoroute 417 et l'accès au boulevard St-Laurent en direction ouest de sorte à améliorer la circulation et la sécurité. «Bien que les travaux aient occasionné
