L earner Swinging open at last, the closed door to the mysterious land of Tibet opens on rusty hinges as the missionary patiently sows the seed and watches in prayer. Those who accompany the writer on his evangel istic journeys will not quickly forget the visit to the “Lamasery of Ten Thousand Images,” the picture of the beautiful lake •—the Koko-Nor, or the night escape from savage Tibetan dogs. But with all the colorful description, the attractively pre sented facts about Tibet, and the humor ous touches which give brightness to the reader’s impression of that little-known land, there is continually evident the mis sionary’s longing that Christ may have these for whom He died, 157 pages. Cloth. China Inland Mission. Price 75 cents. Evangelistic Notices Harold Alexander, solost, song leader, and publisher of gospel songs, may be reached at Box 321, Los Angeles, Calif. The party is composed of four members who play marimba, xylophone, Deagan bells, and saxophone, and are heard also in vocal numbers—-solos, duets and trios. Many souls have been saved and churches revived. Leonard J. Eilers was greatly blessed of the Lord in meetings in Gillette, Wyo. Three churches cooperated. Beginning in the Presbyterian Church, which has a seat ing capacity of 400, it was. necessary to move into the high school gymnasium where larger crowds could be accommo dated. During the two weeks of meetings, 125 decisions were made. About a hundred high school students helped in the choir each night. It is reported that never before had the community been so stirred for God as in these meetings. Mr. Eilers may be addressed at 125 N. Florence, Burbank, Calif. Elden R. Farrar, 1919 N. Ross St., Santa Ana, recently conducted meetings in the North Park Baptist Church, San Diego, Calif. At two services, there were over forty decisions to accept Christ as Saviour, and an equal number of decisions to sur render wholly to the Lord. Following this campaign, Mr. Farrar went to the Baptist Church, Chula Vista, Calif., where a rich time of blessing was enjoyed. Carl C. Harwood, 244 S. Avenue 20, Los Angeles, Calif., has been ministering recently in Dinuba, Calif., in the Methodist Church. Excellent crowds attended the meetings. There were twenty-nine profes sions of faith, and many were brought nearer the Lord. From Dinuba, Mr. Har wood went to San Diego, speaking in the Scott Memorial Baptist Church; then to Chico, where a campaign was held in the Methodist Church (South).
