What I did: Completed NAIC Quarterly and Annual Statement filings, updated excel sheets containing ledger data to current year and created pivot tables to gather the necessary information, researched rules to ensure proper filing, assisted in completing additional state filings due after the 3/1 year-end deadline, updated procedures and excel files to streamline processes, verified filing details with prior year and explained variances. What I liked: The opportunity to get to learn more about Sentry. The position I am in allows me to see how every piece of the business comes together. Future Dream Job: Something in accounting or finance.
