Through this initiative, the Municipality of Russell aims not only to recognize young people who are making a difference, but also to foster a culture of solidarity and civic mindedness within the community.

The Municipality of Russell is conti- nuing its initiative to recognize positive actions by young people by issuing “positive tickets” to those who stand out for their kindness and community involvement Implemented by Public Safety and Enforcement Officers, this program aims to encourage kind behaviour among young people in the region. Each positive ticket comes with a gift card provided by a local business to reward these inspiring actions. During the month of March, two young people from Embrun were honored for their contribution to the community. Nicolas Lafre- nière and Liviah Khan took the initiative to walk through their neighbourhood collecting
