20 Years of the Global B Lab Network In 2026, the global B Lab network celebrates its twentieth anniver- sary. Twenty years shaped by committed business leaders deter- mined to redefine the meaning of performance and put it at the service of a true stakeholder economy. What began with 81 pionee- ring companies in 2006 has grown into a movement of more than 10,700 Certified B Corps across 104 countries and 162 industries, employing over one million people. This anniversary is not a cele- bration of what has been achieved, but a recognition that the path forged over the past two decades has become a shared necessity.
