Join Derek on Sundays and learn the game of Badminton through this introductory level program. Instruction on strokes, rules of the game, and strategy included each week, as well as opportunities for instructional and recreational play. Players are required to bring their own badminton racquet to each session. Ideal for beginners or those wanting to get more comfortable playing the sport (no league players). Designed especially for adults 40 years and older, this 60-minute yoga program is a unique mix of thoughtful stretching, joint strengthening and muscle toning. Claudia guides you through fundamental yoga poses chosen to improve your spinal health, flexibility, balance and day-to-day mobility. Begin and end with guided meditation and mindful breath work as you safely stretch and move with few transitions from seated to standing. Blankets, straps, and blocks provided to support you in learning and modifying poses. This class does not accommodate chair yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. Claudia guides you through a safe and gentle 45-minute yoga program that is slow and deliberate, and less strenuous than other forms of yoga. Open to new and current students of all levels. The majority of the class is on the mat, with minimal transitions from seated to standing. Blankets, straps, and blocks provided to support you in learning and modifying poses. This class does not accommodate chair yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.
