Setting off fireworks is now a little more complicated. During its August 9 meeting, Russell Township Council examined a proposal for a new set of bylaws that would allow the use of fireworks during specific dates. Fireworks were always prohibited in the Township PG3VTTFMMVOEFS UIF/PJTF#ZMBXVOMFTT granted an exemption by the Council, but as of September 1, 2021, that will no longer be the case.
