JOB DESCRIPTION
• Work closely with the Finance Division to produce tenders for the selection/negotiation of utility supplies, with a total value of more than £4 million. • Authorise purchase of energy on a day-to-day basis, based on forecast future demands. • Manage statutory compliance with CHPQA, CRC, EU-ETS, for example, to minimise risk and protect the University against fines and liabilities.

Manage CPS and CCL compliance.
• Assist with energy performance assessment and alterations.
• Manage funding of energy reduction projects and project manage energy reduction initiatives. • Work effectively in collaboration with all other Estates departments to optimise our delivery model; demonstrating a joined-up, customer- focused, value for money service aligned to UEA business needs. • Provide the link between key customers and the team on aspects of energy, MS and the environment. • Provide technical input into engineering, building and building services designs.
• Lead the team on BMS development and advancement.
• Lead the team on building re-commissioning projects.
• Provide monthly progress reports to the BMS team.
• Provide monthly data relating to energy and KPIs.
• Provide input to the environmental management system reports.
• Represent the Energy and Utilities team on CDMG.
• Lead on the Carbon Reduction Team meetings.
