Then, the Canadian Cowgirls Rodeo Drill Team delivers a spectacular, synchronized, and patriotic performance. The second half of the show features a series of adult classes, including bronc riding, barrel racing, pole bending, and bareback competitions. “I think there’s something in it for everybody,” said Ross Millar, president of the Ross Millar Group, which has been organizing the RAM Rodeo Tour for 29 years. Millar launched the rodeo tour, which travels across Ontario showcasing incredible technical skill and horsemanship. “We’re proud to showcase the skills of working cowboys and cowgirls,” Millar said, noting that more than $300,000 in prize money is up for grabs this summer across 16 events in the province. A portion of the show’s proceeds goes to Tuff Therapeutic Riding Foundation in Loretto, which offers equine therapy for at-risk youth. Before the show, guests are invited to take part in a “Behind the Chute” tour, where they can meet both riders and animals while learning more about the world of rodeo. “I own the bucking horses,” said Millar, explaining that all of the animals involved in the show are respected and well cared for. “We treat them as athletes.”

A fast-paced, award-winning comic thriller, written in a dramatic film noir style. Satirizing the self-possessed, tough-guy stereotype of classic detective novels, the protagonist is Tyrone Power, a washed-up writer turned detective. The witty dialogue and non-stop action will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. Will Tyrone find his man before it is too late? Who’s done what to whom? Who really are the good guys? Be prepared for some comic twists and dramatic surprises.
