Fishing is a popular summertime pastime, and several parks and conservation areas along the Credit River watershed offer ideal opportunities for both experienced and novice anglers. Before grabbing your fishing gear and heading out, Credit Valley Conservation (CVC), the authority responsible for protecting parks and conservation lands throughout the watershed, recommends visiting its website to familiarize yourself with local fishing rules and regulations. These include permitted bait types, as well as restrictions in various conservation areas and parks.
