“As a junior high or high school student, it is hard to understand that the decisions you make now

We are getting into that time of year where the best players in college football are finishing up their seasons and beginning the evaluation process for their potential football futures in professional football. Most people would think that the evaluation process would simply be about how well the player played this season or how well he has played over his college career. However, the realty is, the evaluation goes much further then his statistics: how big he might be, or how fast he might run. The scouts and executives in the professional leagues are equally as interested in the character, commitment, and personal decision making that these young men have displayed not only in college, but in high school as well. For all the other collegiate students that will be graduating this year, they too will go through an evaluation process, as they look to enter into the workforce. In comparison to the college football player, prospective employers will look at the grade point averages, the program that a student graduated from, and also the character, commitment, and decision making history that he or she has displayed over their college and high school years as well. As a junior high or high school student, it is hard to understand that the decisions you make now could have such a significant impact years down the road. I know you hear your parents say it, but sometimes you let it go in one ear and out the other. Well,

I can assure you that your parents couldn’t be more correct. I personally have represented a player in the past who had an outstanding college football career, one good enough to guarantee him as a sure fire draft pick into the NFL with millions of dollars waiting at his doorstep. Unfortunately, one thing was

missing. He was missing the quality character, commitment, and honesty that an NFL team looks for. It was certainly an eye opener for me and most importantly the player! For the first time in his life, he realize the magnitude of his previous decisions and how it negatively impacted his career. To date, that individual has never played professional football. It doesn’t matter if you are a future professional athlete or what your career interest might be, the lesson here is the same. The decisions that you make at a younger age can carry through and impact your future. Best advice is try and make the best decisions you can every day knowing that they can benefit you in the future! could have such a significant impact years down the road.”

$ uper Bowl Ad $ If you’ve got $5 million dollars laying around, then you too can have 30 seconds of air time during Super Bowl 52, February 4, 2018. That’s right, the going rate for a 30-second spot during Super Bowl 52 will cost advertisers a pretty penny – well, actually it’s 500 million pennies.

If this seems like a lot to spend on 30 seconds, it is. However, what other television event can deliver this many viewers? Major national and international

companies take advantage of the captive audience the Super Bowl guarantees to launch new campaigns. In addition to the anticipation of the big game, many viewers admit they enjoy and look forward to the creative ads during breaks in the game. So put down that remote ’cause advertisers have literally spent millions to entertain you during the game.
