EXPECTED POSITIVE BEHAVIOURS

Respectful Communication Students should communicate respectfully with teachers, peers, and staff. This includes using polite language, listening when others are speaking, and considering the feelings and perspectives of others. Responsibility and Accountability Students are expected to take responsibility for their actions, both academically and socially. This includes coming to class prepared, completing tasks on time, and owning their behaviour. Active Participation Active participation in class activities and discussions is encouraged. Students should be engaged learners, asking questions, and collaborating with their peers. Respect for School Property and Environment Students should take care of school property and help maintain a clean and orderly environment. This includes respecting classroom materials, keeping common areas tidy, and adhering to school expectations regarding the use of facilities.

Supportive Peer Relationships Students are encouraged to build positive relationships with their peers, supporting one another academically and socially. Bullying, exclusion, or any form of discrimination is unacceptable. Instead, students should strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported. Adaptability and Resilience In a dynamic school environment, students should demonstrate adaptability and resilience in the face of challenges. Whether it ’ s adapting to a new learning method or coping with setbacks, maintaining a positive attitude and being open to change is crucial.
