Jean-François Émard, le chef présumé des RockMachine, a été remis en liberté le 12. Malgré le fait d’avoir plaidé coupable à des accusations de possession de stupéfiants, de possession de munitions prohibées et d’avoir refusé d’obtempérer à un ordre donné par un agent de la paix, la cour a décidé qu’il avait passé assez de temps derrière les barreaux en attente de son procès. La semaine de procès du mois de décembre a donc été annulée. M. Émard avait été arrêté par la Police provinciale de l’Ontario en avril 2016, à la suite d’une al- tercation impliquant desmotardsmembres des Hells Angels Nomads dans un bar de Casselman. M. Émard devra se soumettre à une ordonnance de probation pendant un an, le forçant à garder ses distances de certains établissements de Casselman. – photo d’archives.
