FARM PARK OPENS WITH A NEW ATTRACTION There was a new attraction at Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, as it opened its doors for the 2019 season.

The park, near Guiting Power, unveiled its new visitor centre which is three times the size of its predecessor and has a 130-seat restaurant with ‘breathtaking views’ over the Cotswolds. There is also nearly 400 square metres of retail space, where the park is showcasing the work of craftspeople from across the county. A spokesman for the park said:“It's a brilliant space, which we really hope visitors will enjoy for years to come” l LIDL INVESTS IN COLEFORD STORE A major brand name looks set to go ahead with plans for a multi-million pound

investment in a Forest of Dean market town. Councillors gave the go-ahead to Lidl’s proposal for a new store, which looks set to create 40 new jobs - 15 full-time and 25 part time. An estimated 2,500 residents are said to have responded to consultation the new supermarket on the Lord's Hill site in Coleford, with almost 98 per cent in support. Tesco had previously won approval to build on the site, but that permission has now lapsed. The build will include a new 76 space car park l
