Introduction by Lexi Wicks Design by Katrina Nolan

For our seniors, it’s the last chapter at CWU, but not the end of the story. For everyone else, it’s another magical plot twist in the making. However you show up, show up fully. Your happily ever after is happening right now.
HYPE is an event magazine published quarterly by the Publicity Center. As a full- service agency, we offer creative services and event marketing while providing a professionally mentored experience for student staff. flourish across every spread, inspired by art nouveau and the fairytale storybooks we grew up reading. Inked by the kingdom’s most talented scribes, you’ll find minimal shading, bold lines, and a touch of drama. This guide, designed as a modern-day codex of campus lore, pairs medieval charm with the wink of contemporary flair. Decorative frames

In the past, the event has been intended primarily for charitable alumni and community members looking to make a contribution. This year, as we mark the 10th anniversary of Give Central, CWU is offering students the opportunity to get involved like never before. It’s called “Direct the Dollars”, a creative new way for students to give input on the allotment of funds, without having
for a handful of magic beans. Today, you too can take the paved walkway to the charming patio of our beautiful campus, and trade a magic token for some feel-good philanthropy. to make a donation themselves.

Here’s how it works; on April 23, check in at the SURC West Patio anytime between 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and collect a Wildcat Coin. This wood token represents $50 that has already been donated. This coin is yours to spend at whatever program or department you see fit. What will you choose? Inside the SURC you’ll be met with an array of tables, each with a different funding opportunity. As you look through the ones that interest you, you can learn more from project representatives, and direct the dollars to your preferred cause by dropping your coin in their fishbowl. Your selection prioritizes student feedback, and supports the on- campus programs that matter most to you, including programs like the Wildcat Pantry, teacher education, and the professional clothing closet. From small groups to entire majors, the event is dedicated to bringing valuable resources to the whole student body and more!
