Le Centre d’entrepreneuriat de Prescott et Russell (PREC), un organisme sans but lucratif qui soutient les propriétaires de petites entreprises en leur fournissant de l’information, des outils et du soutien pendant les phases de démarrage et de croissance, a accordé des subventions de démarrage à quatre jeunes entrepreneurs de la région de Prescott-Russell. They help business owners build a website if they don’t already have one,

They then construct a Digital Transformation Plan (DTP) to summarize work that needs to be done that may be outside their scope of work, and introduce business owners to online training modules to help make it happen. They also assist business owners in applying to a one-time grant of $2500. In places where COVID-19 restrictions are still in place, the DSS can provide sup- port online and over the phone as well. The squad’s work began in August and will continue through to the end of October.

Monsieur Bernard Deslauriers, originaire de Hawkesbury, est décédé le jeudi 16 septembre 2021, à l’âge de 75 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil ses sœurs : Thérèse (Germain Joly) et Linda (Gordon Hadley), son frère: Gilles (Lise Proulx) ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents : Arthur Deslauriers et Jeannette Savaria et par son frère Richard. Ceux qui ont connu Bernard savent comment il était un grand amateur des Blackhawks de Chicago.
