T here are all kinds of rodders and all kinds of dedi- cation to our hobby. While interviewing Joe Troilo we started talking about all the guys we both knew from that first group of early NSRA rodders, including Sam Marks, Jake and June Moran, Joe Mayall, Tom Biles, and Vernon Walker. Joe thought all those guys were hardcore, they really lived street rodding and NSRA all the time. I also thought Joe himself qualified as a member of this group and that’s exactly why I picked him to be featured. Joe has been the Pennsylvania NSRA State Representative since 1974. If you were to ultra simplify Joe’s life it would be baseball, hot rods, employment and his ever-supportive wife, Pauline.
