Fast forward a few years and the Model A was still not done but a pair of car dealers, aka ‘The Indiana Mafia,’ decided Charlie needed a ’40 Chevy they had for sale that was super rough, but more importantly, was ready to run. Charlie bought the ’40 and the Model A ended up spending decades in the garage where his daughter put thousands of pretend miles behind the wheel of the ol’ ’30 Ford sedan.
