Charlie and Janie’s original ’40 Chevy coupe is still kicking around with over 320,000 miles on the odometer. Purchased as a basket-case driver, it’s been rebuilt many times and usually repainted each time. In primer when purchased, it first went

Charlie and Janey stories is when one of their friends asked why they had their picture in so many maga- zines and Charlie replied: “If you go lots of places and do stuff, you get in the magazine, and that’s also how I became your National Field Director.” In 2004 North Central Division Director Mike Chrispyn became an NSRA Event Director and Charlie moved into his Division Director position (IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, WV, and WI). Once Charlie was in charge, he found out he not only loved meeting all his NSRA family, but he also really enjoyed finding the right guy for the right job and soon realized the better people you know the better your choices. All that travel is awesome, but way more impressive when you see that Janie had a stroke about ten years before the promotion and needs a me to shoot for the feature as his latest build, but the timing didn’t work out. Currently, Charlie is building a ’34 Ford five-window coupe with 383 power, a Pete & Jake’s chassis along with all the good stuff.
