Fashion, Theatre & Media Make-Up offers an exciting career path if you have a creative flair and a passion for hair and make-up in the performance and media industries. Whilst these industries can be competitive, the right skills, experience and dedication can open the door to a wide range of opportunities. Our diplomas provide a clear progression route, starting with the Level 2, where you’ll gain an introduction to the artistry of hair, make-up, and special effects for stage and screen. As you progress to Level 3, you’ll
refine your technical abilities and explore more advanced creative techniques. Working closely with our Visual Performing Arts department, you’ll also gain practical experience through external placements, helping you to develop your skills and develop your own professional style. With MediaCityUK in Salford and the Creative and Digital Quarters in Liverpool nearby, there is growing demand for skilled professionals, making now the ideal time to step into the spotlight.
