GILLIAN EDUCATION & TRAINING LEVEL 3 AWARD
Gillian enrolled onto this course to gain a formal teaching qualification. This was to enhance the skills she uses in her role as a Specialist Blood Transfusion Practitioner within the NHS. The course has supported her in developing new teaching strategies, including delivering to larger groups and using engaging starter activities to prepare students for effective learning. She highlights the excellent resources at Preston College, including the library, as well as the support from tutors, which helped her successfully achieve her qualification. Recommended by her workplace education team, she has found the experience both rewarding and inspiring. She now plans to continue applying her new skills to support and develop others within her professional role.
