or individuals. If available, make time to check out multiple tours of your teen’s preferred schools. Different tours will give you multiple points of view, and you might notice something important in one tour that wasn’t covered in a different one. GO BEYOND THE COLLEGE-PROVIDED TOUR. While most virtual college tours make an effort to give viewers an accurate representation of life on campus, these tours are curated by the administration. In order to get a sense of what students think of the college, go the extra mile by tracking down online communities. Look for student groups on Facebook or Reddit and check out the conversations taking place. See how students interact with the school’s Twitter account. You can even look for the school’s hashtag on Instagram and see photos taken by students. But don’t just look at social media posts. Encourage your teen to reach out to other students and ask questions. Students who are actually enrolled will be a lot more honest about the dorms, the food, and the teachers than the university guide. VISIT IN PERSON IF POSSIBLE. Virtual tours can help your teen narrow down their college prospects and decide which school they really like. Once your student has decided their top choices, see if it’s possible to tour the colleges in person. It might not always be possible to easily visit a college before an acceptance letter comes — especially if your teen has their heart set on

an international school — but physically being on the campus can help you both determine if that’s really where your teen wants to spend the next several years of their life. Ready to start visiting colleges without leaving the house? Start your tours at YouVisit.com/collegesearch. He jumped right into the world record for “highest bar jump cleared by a llama.” “He’s a complete diva,” says Williams. “So, if there are people there to show off in front of, that’s when he’s at his ultimate best.” DIDGA, A VERY TRICKY KITTY Anyone who says cats can’t learn tricks hasn’t met Didga. In 2016, Didga, with help from her human, Robert Dollwet, claimed a world record by performing 20 different tricks in 60 seconds. Her routine started with the classics, like sitting and giving high-fives, and culminated in riding a skateboard while hopping over a low bar. Dollwet told
