Youth7 Summit 2022
In her introductory address to Youth7 Delegates, Federal Minister Paus highlighted that personal encounters and direct dialogue with political decision-makers are a necessity for meaningful international youth partic- ipation. In a lively Q&A session after her remarks, Minister Paus responded to questions raised by the Delegates on youth participation in environ- mental politics, for example on Germany’s G7 initiative to form an Interna- tional Climate Club, the role of young people in climate diplomacy and on political support for non-formal international youth work. Later, Youth7 Delegates had an opportunity to talk more informally with Federal Minister Paus on the roof top terrace and advocate for their priority topics, such as Youth, Peace and Security, in bilateral and more personal exchanges.
Youth7 welcomed Federal Minister Paus on the podium for an engaged exchange with Co-Chairs and Delegates.
