M argaret Keenan, the 90-year-old British grandmother who became the first person in the world to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine outside of a trial, said she feels great after being discharged from hospital. Keenan said in a statement that receiving the vaccine had been “a massive day for me per- sonally and for the rest of the world,” and she again urged others to sign up for the vaccination program. BRITISH GRANDMOTHER FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD TO RECEIVE UNITED SHIPS COVID VACCINE DOSES ON PASSENGER PLANES U nited Airlines has started transporting coronavirus vaccines within the U.S. in the bellies of its passenger aircraft, as carriers’ role in distributing doses expands. The Chicago-based airline last month became the country’s first passenger airline to transport the vaccine to the U.S., operating five flights from Brussels to its hub at Chicago O’Hare Inter- national Airport using Boeing 777 aircraft dedi- cated solely to air cargo. Each aircraft is capable of holding more than 1 million doses. The smaller, domestic shipments of the vaccine on flights carrying passengers is the next step in the delivery plan as doses are sent to administra- tion sites around the country.

F araday Future, a startup working on an elec- tric vehicle, has announced that the company has partnered with Philips Intellectual Prop- erty & Standards for showcasing vehicle features that use a select set of Philips technologies. In this joint development agreement, Philips will provide its expertise in user wellness monitoring and together with Faraday Future, they will inte- grate the technologies accordingly to the compa- ny’s electric vehicles. The company adds that Philips’ health technolo- gy and software add significant differentiators to Faraday Future’s product vision and its planned upcoming luxury electric vehicles. N uminus Wellness Inc., known for creating an ecosystem of health solutions centered around developing and supporting the safe, evidence-based, accessible use of psychedel- ic-assisted psychotherapies (PAP), has announced the acquisition of Montreal-based Mindspace Psy- chology Services Inc (DBA Mindspace Wellbeing), a leader and pioneer in psychedelic programming. The agreement brings together the capabilities of two leading Canadian organizations to develop and scale delivery of evidence-based psychedel- ic-assisted psychotherapy to provide the highest quality patient outcomes.
