Note the sinner’s state in Eph. 2:12 —Christless, friendless, homeless, hope­ less and godless. The blood shed for us (Matt. 26:28). The Spirit shed on us (Tit. 3 :6). Love shed abroad in us (Rom. 5 :5). Test of believers: Do you glory in the cross? (Gal. 6:14). In tribulations? (Rom. 5 :3). In infirmities? (2 Cor. 12:9).
