T H E K I N G ' S B U S I N E S S did not know the number of the house or the street. She told her Sunday School teacher about the matter and- drew a diagram indicating the location of the house and the street where the friend lived. This was given to a worker with the name of the young woman in question and the call was made. An invitation was given to com© to Sunday School and the worker left some tracts. The member of the Sunday School class invited her friend to come and spend Saturday'night with her and go with her to Sunday School the next day. The invitation was accepted and this was the first time the friend had ever attended a Sunday School. The worker called at the home during th© week and was asked by the young woman the following questions: What is God? Where is Heaven? Do you be lieve in a personal devil? Having an swered these questions the worker then told tire story of “ Moses and the Brazen Serpent in th e Wilderness’’, Numbers 21:5-9. The young woman exclaimed, “ That was faith that healed them!” The worker then quoted our Lord’s own words as found in John 3:14, 15, 16. “ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever be- lieveth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life,” and added, “ There is life for a look at the Crucified One!” Prayer was then offered to God, after which the worker, noting the tears in the young woman’s eyes, asked her if she would accept the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She replied that she would. Two Sundays later the young woman publicly confessed her acceptance of Christ before some of the members of the Sunday School class. An American Heathen A number of months ago, a Bible woman asked the other Bible women of the circle to pray for a certain woman whom she has come across in her visi tation work. This woman was indeed an object for prayer, for she was a veri table American “ heathen” . She knew nothing of the Bible and was as ignorant of God’s plan of salvation as a babe. In response to the Bible woman’s invitation she enrolled in one of the Bible classes. And now comes the beautiful sequel, a token of God’s wondrous love and thought for His children. The Bible

lug oi the seed. One incident came to our attention only last week. The noon whistle had blown, and when we arrived the men were scattered in the different parts of the factory eat ing their lunches. Our helpers went im mediately to our accustomed meeting place, while we went from place to place, inviting the men in the factory to the meeting. Going to the far corner of the building, we saw one man in tensely interested reading a book. .Com ing closer, we noticed that it looked very much like a Bible. We greeted him with a word, and he turned to us and said, “ This is the most interesting book I have ever read.” Leaning over his shoulder, we saw plainly that it was the Bible. We too, could add our testi mony to his, and then he was asked how he became interested in it, and he said, “ Why, I heard you men tell so mucn about it, that I determined to find out about these things for myself and I have.” Here was a man, who a few months before was totally uninterested in this Book, but who was honest enough, after he had heard the Word, and the testimony about it, to take it up and study it, finding out for himself that Jesus could save. After all, Jesus said, “ If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of My self.” John 7:17. As we left that shop, we could not help but feel that God had many more, who had definitely accepted Jesus, whom we have never heard testify, ‘ but who will appear in Glory with us, saved by Grace. Is the work worth while? Then is it too much to ask that as many as can will help by their prayers that the work of God might go on? Praying is working! ate ate BIBLE WOMEN’S WORK Mr».
