This building in Kralja Petra Street was completed in 1907 for the merchants, bank- ers and members of parliament of the Bu- lis, an influential Jewish family, and built according to the project of engineer Viktor Azriel. It is remarkable for what was at the time a very distinctive and modern façade, made entirely of glass held in place by an iron lattice grid. Typical secessionist adorn- ments include female masks with plaited hair, stylised geometric ribbons and inter- woven floral patterns, while a particularly interesting feature is the entrance door’s handle in the shape of a swan.
