ADA CIGANLIJA
ADA CIGANLIJA
This circular track around the most beloved Belgrade lake is a good choice for warm days, because you can paddle in the lake and cool down after your run. While the main track al- lows you to cover a decent distance, there are many side trails that you can also use. The only downside is that there can be unbearable crowds on the track when the weather is nice. You should also be ready to avoid waiters emerging from the lakeside cafes. The track is mostly at, which is great for be- ginners but limiting for those wanting to race uphill.

3,5 km asfalt i tartan/ asphalt and tartan
Although the promenade on the New Belgrade banks of the rivers Sava and Danube extends around 7.5 kilometres, from beneath Gazela Bridge to Gardoš Hill in Zemun, the best part for running is between the foot of Branko’s Bridge and Hotel Yugoslavia, because that stretch is shaded and not overly crowded. The track follows the Sava to its conuence with the Danube and then follows the part of the Danube that runs alongside Great War Island on the western side. It goes without saying that the view of Kalemegdan is unforgettable. An equally good op- tion, covering roughly the same distance, is the newly installed Tartan circular track, which starts at the Museum of Contemporary Art and runs through the park all the way to Hotel Yugoslavia.
