London Oxford Street becomes pedestrian zone London’s Oxford Street, famous as a venue for shopping, will be converted into a pedestrian zone by 2020, announced city authorities. This street, which is traversed by around four million people a week, has become synonymous with traffic congestion and is one of the city’s largest sources of air pollution. That’s why things are soon set to change. In addition, the announced construction of completely new infrastructure for bicycles is aimed at turning London into a city tailored to people and nature. Vienna Time for Easter bazaars Vienna’s Easter markets have become a genuine magnet for tourists, with many choosing the specific period of the Easter holidays to visit this imperial city. From as early as 17 th March, on the bazaar in front of the imperial backdrop of Schönbrunn Palace, 60 exhibitors will present a variety of home-made specialities and a large selection of Easter decorations to curious visitors. Meanwhile, on Freyung Square, as in previous years, Europe’s largest hill of decorated Easter eggs will also erected, while a bazaar offering special ideas for handmade Easter gifts will also open on Am Hof Square.
Bečki uskršnji bazari postali su pravi magnet za turiste jer se mnogi od njih odluče za obilazak carskog grada baš tokom uskršnjih praznika. Tako će na bazaru ispred carske kulise dvorca Šenbrun već od 17. marta 60 izlagača radoznalim posetiocima predstaviti razne domaće specijalitete i veliki izbor dekorativnog uskršnjeg nakita. Na Trgu Frajung, kao i prethodnih godina, biće napravljeno najveće brdo od oslikanih uskršnjih jaja u Evropi.

London Oksford postaje pešačka zona
Londonska ulica Oksford, poznata po šopingu, biće pretvorena u pešačku zonu do 2020. godine, najavile su gradske vlasti. Ova ulica, kojom za nedelju dana prođe oko četiri miliona ljudi, postala je sinonim za saobraćajne gužve i jedan je od najvećih izvora vazdušnog zagađenja. Zbog toga će se uskoro stvari promeniti, a najavljena je i izgradnja kompletno nove infrastrukture za bicikliste s ciljem da se London pretvori u grad po meri čoveka i prirode.

Brussels World’s sweetest fair
The word’s sweetest teeth are set to gather at the Brussels Tour & Taxis Centre from 2 nd to 4 th March for a chocolate fair, which attracts a great amount of public and media attention each year. The slogan of this year’s fair is “Chocolate and Cocoa: Great Adventure” and events will include the presentation of an unusual exhibition of chocolate sculptures, as well as a fashion show featuring chocolate dresses. Visitors will also be able to see numerous presentations connected to the earliest days of chocolate production around the world, as well as sample specific types of chocolate that are only produced in Belgium.
Najveći sladokusci sveta okupiće se u briselskom centru Tour & Taxis od 2. do 4. marta za vreme Sajma čokolade, koji svake godine privuče veliku pažnju javnosti i medija iz celog sveta. Slogan ovogodišnjeg sajma glasi Čokolada i kakao: velika avantura, a u okviru manifestacije biće predstavljene izložbe neobičnih skulptura od čokolade, kao i revija čokoladnih haljina. Posetioci će moći da pogledaju i brojne prezentacije u vezi s počecima proizvodnje čokolade u svetu i da degustiraju posebne vrste čokolade koja se proizvodi samo u Belgiji.
