Trend kojem odoleva samo crveni tepih / Trend resisted only by the red carpet
The term athleisure was created by combining the words athletic and leisure, and so we have clothing developed for sport, but created for leisure time Termin „atležer“ nastao je kombinovanjem termina „atletski“ i „slobodno vreme“ i eto nama odeće razvijene za sport, ali kreirane i za slobodno vreme
Džej Lo odlično nosi atležer: u krop-topu, joga pantalonama, crvenim patikama i s lobuten tašnom J Lo rocks the Athleisure look in a cropped top, yoga leggings, red sneakers and carrying a Louboutin handbag
Although its aesthetic aim is to look relaxed urban and hip, it is still a privilege for employees who are allowed to work in these types of clothes. Athleisure be- gan with yoga, but it did not stop there, moving on to elements of clothing for tennis and running. However, this style is much more than a sporting look. Thanks to new fi- bres and materials, comfort has become the highest dictate in fashion. Stretch ma- terials and stretchy Jersey fabric are every- where, from jeans to suits, while soft ma- terials form the basis of blazers and sports coats. Trousers made from stretchy mate- rial have a classic look, but are comforta- ble like a tracksuit. It all started with a new fabric called Hi-Tech, which is synthetic, thin and warm, making a walk in the cold more pleasant and giving an attractive appearance. Relaxed dress codes at many compa- nies and Casual Fridays also introduced
this sportswear-inspired trend into the business world. And then we have the paradox that is inherent in the fashion world – sports- wear that is not worn for sport, but rath- er during everyday life. It is difficult to incorporate tights – even if we call them yoga pants – into the everyday business wardrobe, but some el- ements, such as long sweatshirt dresses, blouses with hoods, soft trousers, bomb- er jackets made from fine materials, train- ers and backpacks made of leather or hi- tech material are easy to love, and even easier to wear on occasions that are not formal. Thus athleisure, as a mix of classic and sports-inspired articles, has proven to be a winning combination. And a mere glance at the history of fashion shows us that some things that seemed unacceptable at one moment al- ready became acceptable the next, even desirable. But it is in that unattainabili- ty that the charm of fashion resides.
