Pogled u svet i ove je godine zaštitni znak ovog voljenog festivala, koji je od samih početaka otkrivao nešto što je u filmskom svetu naizgled sitno i apartno, napravljeno daleko od velikih filmskih studija. Prave filmske dragocenosti... A ko su ti svi članovi porodi- ce na okupu, postoje stva- ri koje nikad nećeš saznati i koje nikad nećeš primeti- ti. Ali ako je porodica razorena, neke stvari o njoj postaju jasnije… Ovim rečima je japanski sineasta Hirokazu Koreeda opisao suštinu svog filma Kradljivci , svega nekoliko dana pre nego što je tim filmom trijumfo- vao na Kanskom filmskom festivalu. Sada će i beogradska publika biti u prilici da pogleda to ostvarenje na sa- mom otvaranju 24. It was with these words that Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore’eda summarised the essence of his film Shoplifters, just a few days prior to his victory with this film at the Cannes Film Festival. Now the Belgrade audience will also have the opportunity to watch this cre- ation at the opening of the 24 th Auteur Film Festival (FAF), one of Serbia’s most beloved film review shows, which summarises im- pressions regarding the most important films to grace the screens of world film fes- tivals, from the Berlinale onwards. That will be the case again this year, from 23 rd to 30 th November, when this year’s festival will take View Into the World is again the slogan for this year’s edition of this much- loved festival, which has from its very inception revealed something that’s seemingly minor and separate, produced far away from major film studies.
