CAPITAL Heroes at the heart of Belgrade At the very heart of the city are Kosančić’s, Toplica’s and Obilić’s ‘wreaths’, which aren’t Belgrade’s only wreaths, but probably are its most beautiful OBILIĆ’S,KOSANČIĆ’S ANDTOPLICA’SWREATHS ARE CONNECTED TO EACH other and form an urban zone between Branko- va and Knez Mihailo- va streets, because the people after whom they are named also form part of the same uniqueness - the Battle of Kosovo. Miloš Obilić, Ivan Kosančić and Mi- lan Toplica form a trin- ity in an oath, an ac- complishment. Beauty and heroism, so it’s no surprise that one of the most beautiful parts of Belgrade, the centre of the Old Town, received its names thanks to them.
Beograda U samom centru grada nalaze se Kosančićev, Topličin i Obilićev venac, koji nisu jedini venci Beograda, ali su verovatno najlepši OBILIĆEV, KOSANČI ĆEV I TOPLIČIN VENAC NADOVEZUJU SE JE DAN na drugog i čine ce- linu između Brankove i Knez Mihailove ulice, jer su i ličnosti po kojima su nazvani deo istog je- dinstva – Kosov-
ske bitke. Mi- loš Obilić, Ivan Kosančić i Milan Toplica čine troj-
stvo u zavetu, pod- vigu. Lepoti i junaš- tvo, pa ne čudi što je jedan od najlep- ših delova Beograda, centar Starog gra- da baš po njima dobio svoja imena.
