I finansijski i operativni rezultati iz 2017. čvrst su osnov za još bolje rezultate. Uprkos sve jačoj konkurenciji i drugim nepovoljnim okolnostima na tržištu, od 2013. Er Srbija stalno unapređuje poslovanje. I ovu godinu počeli smo sa istim ci- ljem – da na svim poljima ostvarimo napredak što će, uveren sam, u narednom periodu dove- sti do još boljih rezultata – kaže Dankan Nej- smit, generalni direktor Er Srbije .

According to Air Serbia Chief Executive Of- ficer Duncan Naysmith: “2017 was a pivotal year for Air Serbia that saw the airline implement fun- damental changes to strengthen the business, which have already positively impacted on many key operating metrics. This is a fantastic sign of things to come. Air Serbia managed to maintain its strong passenger numbers from the previ- ous year. Both financial and operational perfor- mance in 2017 have set a strong base for us go- ing forward. Despite intensified competition and other unfavourable circumstances in the market, we have continuously improved our results since 2013. We started 2018 with the same goal – to push forward on all fronts, which will hopefully lead us to even better years ahead.

ETIHAD OSTAJE UZ ER SRBIJU Er Srbija i Etihad ervejz ugovorili su nastavak strateš- kog partnerstva dve avio-kompanije. Etihad ostaje vlasnik Er Srbije sa udelom od 49 odsto, u potpunosti je posvećen partnerstvu i nastaviće da podržava Vla- du Srbije, većinskog vlasnika Er Srbije . Odluku o produžetku strateškog partnerstva pozdra- vio je i Robin Kamark, generalni direktor za strateška partnerstva u Etihad aviejšen grupi . – Drago nam je što smo u prethodnom periodu uspeli da pomognemo Er Srbiji da postane ono što je danas. Radujemo se novoj fazi našeg strateškog partnerstva i u svakom trenutku možete da računate da ćemo biti predan i pouzdan partner – naglasio je Kamark. Dan- kan Nejsmit, aktuelni prelazni generalni direktor, kao i Deklan Keler, koji obavlja dužnost izvršnog direkto- ra za saobraćaj, ostaće na tim pozicijama do 31. 12. 2018. godine.
PARTNERSHIP WITH ETIHAD TO BE CONTINUED Air Serbia and Etihad Airways agreed that the equi- ty partnership between the two airlines will contin- ue. Etihad continues to own 49 per cent of Air Ser- bia and remains a fully committed and supportive shareholder in partnership with Air Serbia’s majori- ty shareholder, the Government of Serbia. Robin Kamark, Etihad Aviation Group’s Chief Ex- ecutive Officer for Equity Partners, said: “Etihad is honoured to have been able to help build Air Ser- bia into what it is today. We are looking forward to the next phase of our equity partnership as an en- gaged and supportive shareholder and cooper- ation partner”. Air Serbia Interim Chief Executive Officer Duncan Naysmith and Chief Operations Of- ficer Declan Keller will remain in their current man- agement positions until year’s end 2018.
