CIGLANA CIGLANA
K lub ljubitelja teške industrije najpoznatiji je po ga- leriji džinovskih metalnih skulptura umetnika Vik- tora Kiša, koji je i tvorac ovog verovatno najauten- tičnijeg umetničkog prostora u gradu. Ciglana je zasnovana na „svetom trojstvu“ – ateljeu, kafani i galeriji. Ni- je čudno što je u međuvremenu postala dom Festivala Devet , koji spaja i razvija devet umetnosti. Naime, sam prostor je na „bezbednoj distanci“ od centra grada. Nalazi se na ruševina- ma stare ciglane, pa se otvara za najrazličitije kreativne forme – od performansa savremenog cirkusa i intimnih džez svirki do izložbi velikog formata i koncerata simfonijskih orkesta- ra. Pritom, atmosfera je uvek opuštena do te mere da sve što se tamo dešava istovremeno deluje spektakularno i tako pri- rodno – bendovi sviraju za svoju dušu, umetnici se povezu- ju na licu mesta stvarajući nove umetničke izraze, akrobate uvežbavaju svoje tačke otkrivajući tajne zainteresovanima... Naravno, ovakav prostor ima i neka ograničenja – sve zavisi od vremenskih prilika, a publika koju okuplja je prilično pro- filisana, nema „slučajnih prolaznika“. Što i nije tako loše.
T he club for lovers of heavy industry is most famous for its gallery of giant metal sculptures by artist Viktor Kiš, who is also the creator of this place, which is probably the most authentic artistic space in town. Ciglana (Brickyard) is based on the“holy trinity”– studio, café and gallery. It is no won- der that it has in the meantime become home to the festival De- vet (Nine), which fuses and develops nine art forms. Namely, the space itself is located at a“safe distance”from the city centre. Situ- ated on the ruins of an old brickyard, it is open to the most diverse creative forms – from performances of contemporary circuses and intimate jazz concerts, to large-format exhibitions and symphony orchestra concerts. Moreover, the atmosphere is always so relaxed that everything that happens there seems simultaneously spec- tacular and so natural – bands play with their soul, artists connect on the spot, creating new artistic expressions, acrobats rehearse their moves, revealing secrets to all those who are interested... Of course, this kind of space also has its limitations – everything de- pends on the weather, while the crowd that gathers there is fair- ly profiled, with no “casual passers-by” ... and that’s not so bad.
