Policija Rejkjavika (inače ne nose pištolje) na svom Instagra - mu objavljuje fotografije slatkih životinjica i policajaca koji li- žu sladoled, a vojska ne postoji. Često se plaća po sistemu „ubaci novce u teglu“ i niko ne kontroliše iznos. The Reykja- vik police (whose officers don’t carry guns) post on their Insta- gram profiles photographs of cute animals and officers licking ice creams, while no army exists. Payments are often made according to the “place money in the jar” system, and nobody controls the amount. When you ask Icelanders for an explanation, answers vary; some say that “criminals have nowhere to hide”, while some say that “people have no reason to steal, as everyone has a salary”.
