Just like the Federal Interior Minis- try building, this complex was also severely damaged during the 1999 bombing of Belgrade. The “Takovo Uprising” mon- ument, representing a replica of sculptor Petar Ubavkić’s original monument in Takovo, was erected in Belgrade’s first public park in 2004, while sculptor Zoran Kuzmanović’s monument to Gavrilo Princip, after whom this park is today named, ar- rived in 2015.
