K ada se kaže „praška filmska škola“, zna se tačno na šta se misli – na osobenu filmsku poetiku blisku francuskom stilu naracije, italijanskom neorealistič- nom čulnom filmu i ruskom ekspresionističkom vi- zuelnom stilu. Kao takva, akademija za film u Pragu, poznata u svetu kao FAMU, proizvela je generacije i generacije filma džija, koji su u istoriji filma ostavili značajan trag. Mnogi su se od njih, tokom šezdesetih i sedamdesetih, zahvaljujući ta- dašnjoj saradnji zemalja istočnog bloka, školovali tamo, pa je u srpsku kinematografiju zajedno sa čitavom jednom genera- cijom, kasnije plejadom filmskih režisera, ušla osobena film- ska estetika. Goran Paskaljević i Goran Marković neka su od tih imena. Za Elevejt govore o iskustvu života i studija u Pra- gu tokom tih srećnih godina dvadesetog veka.
W hen the Prague school of film is mentioned, it is known precisely what is meant - a characteristic film poetry, close to the French style of narration, Italian sensual neoreal- ism and the Russian expressionist visual style. As such, The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, known worldwide as FAMU, has produced generations and generations of filmmakers who have left a significant mark on the history of film. Many of them, during the 1960s and ’70s, were educated there thanks to cooperation at that time between Eastern Bloc countries, and that characteristic film aesthetic entered Serbian cinematography together with an entire generation, and later a plethora of film directors. Goran Paskaljević and Goran Marković are among those names. Here they speak for Elevate about their experience living and studying in Prague during those happy years of the twentieth century.
