Intervju / Interview: Nebojša Glogovac
F or more than two decades we have enjoyed his acting antics. He is a man who only shares emotions and intima- cy on stage and in front of the camera, so we do not discuss his private life. However, we do know that he likes playing with his children, walking his dog, cooking, riding a motorcy- cle and escaping into the country- side. Glory is a double-edged sword for him... He is Nebojša Glogovac, one of Serbia’s greatest actors. He gained his first experience at the age of just 12, when he appeared in the project “Tales from Nepričava”, which was immediately followed by “A Better Life”. And despite all the great roles he has played since then, it seems that he recently managed to improve up- on that and fascinate audiences and critics alike on the big screen and on theatre stages - as the incredible Pro- fessor Vjeko Kralj in Rajko Grlić’s film “The Constitution”, and also as one of the best Hamlets we’ve ever seen... The role of Vjeko Kralj in Grlić’s film is perhaps the most complex role you’ve played to date. - It was written so that it con- tains an incredible number of levels of one personality. I play a gay man, a history professor whose lover has died, who walks around Zagreb at night in women’s clothing. He has a father who is dying and who is a for- mer Fascist. He worries about him, but they have never had a good re- lationship. He has a withdrawn life and is despised by those around him. All of this creates a complex and in- teresting space for a man who is not particularly good looking, but who is interesting for acting play. Was it difficult to wear women’s clothes and walk in high heels? - Once actors were only men, du- ring the time when women did not do this job. This phenomenon has always been there and is simply part of the acting profession. How diffi-
Živi prilično povučeno i okolina ga prezire.

I love to cook. That’s a wonderful skill. When you cook you can’t think about something horrible or be angry and irritated Volim da kuvam, to je divna veština.
