SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SESSION Conversation Skills
This is a specialized group designed for middle school and high school students, which aims to enhance their conversational skills. Focused on implementing techniques from the PEERS program, participants will delve into the art of effective communication through trading information, gracefully entering and exiting conversations, and mastering the appropriate use of humor. Led by Dr. Megan Broome and Dr. Mickell Lethco, this intensive group provides a safe and supportive environment for students to practice and refine their social skills. Through engaging activities, role-playing scenarios, and constructive feedback, participants will gain confidence and competence in navigating various social interactions.
Who: Middle School & High School students When: July 8- July 12, M-F Middle School Group Time : 1:00 PM-2:00 PM High School Group Time : 2:30 PM-3:30 PM Cost: $ 900 Led by: Dr. Megan Broome & Dr. Mickell Lethco
