Le Carnaval d’Embrun bat officiellement son plein et, pour son lancement officiel le 19 janvier dernier, le bonhomme Carnaval était de la partie ! C’est même lui qui a fait la mise au jeu dumatch des Panthères d’Embrun contre les Rebels de Char-Lan. Cynthia Ménard, couronnée Miss World Canada l’été dernier, a quant à elle offert sa voix pour chanter l’hymne national. —photos Caroline Prévost
The Embrun Carnival is officially in full swing. The Carnival began on Friday, January 19 and is running until Sunday, January 28. Each day is filled with various activities at different locations around Embrun. On Saturday, January 20, public skating took place at the Embrun arena from2 to 3 p.m. Families and people of all ages tied up their skates and hit the ice. —photos Alexia Marsillo
Les enfants ont eu droit à un spectacle haut en couleur samedi dernier, alors qu’ Atlas Géocircus 2 – Le monde est petit était présenté au Centre communautaire d’Embrun. Pendant près d’une heure, les petits se sont laissés emporter par des numéros de cirque où le rire était au rendez-vous… et ce, même pour les grands ! —photos Caroline Prévost

T he Pool Tournament has been part of the Embrun Carnival since its inception and has been organized in Embrun for 30 years now. Over the course of several days throughout the Carnival, the pool tournament involves over 50 people who are signed up for it.
