By Jamie Barrie A phria Inc., headquartered in Ontario, has signed an agreement to buy a medical cannabis firm Nuuvera Inc., for $826 million. The deal builds on a partner- ship between the companies as it combines Aphria’s pro- duction with Nuuvera’s expertise in cannabis processing and extraction. Aphria CEO, Vic Neufeld has said that, “Aphria is continu- ously looking for new revenue streams and opportunities to bring Aphria-branded medical cannabis to patients across Canada and in markets around the world. “Neufeld says the combination of companies will open the door to “key inter- national markets,” most notably in Germany and Italy.
