ore than two-thirds of the membership of CREW Lehigh Valley celebrated the chapter’s growth and success at its eighth annual meeting held at the Saucon Valley Country Club. President Tina Kisela presented 2012 highlights. The PR Committee, under the leader- ship of chair Molly Graver, Esq., inaugurated a new logo, updated the chapter’s website, instituted a quarterly email newsletter, continues a monthly page in the MidAtlantic Real Estate Journal and introduced CREW to the PA Economic Development Associa- tion through a display at its annual conference. The Program Committee, led by Pam Morris, organized informative and interesting events every month of the year, includ- ing the first joint program with CREW Philadelphia. The Membership Committee, whose chair is Karen Cooney Duerholz, recruited14 new members, instituted a refer- a-friend program, hosted membership events, and researched a membership category for students, which will take effect in 2013. The Community Service Committee, led M
by Jody King, run monthly programs at Allentown’s Sixth Street Shelter, working with youngsters while their parents attend classes on parenting, personal finances and more. In addition to running food drives and holiday programs, the committee has instituted a format for introducing additional community services to the membership. The chapter enjoys the support of 17 sponsors, thanks to the efforts of 2012 sponsorship chair, Francee Fuller and 2011 chair Kate Hart Zayitz, Secretary Kate Durso, Esq. announced the 2013 slate of officers: Maureen O’Meara, president; Christa Kraftician Duelberg, AIA, LEEDAP, president-elect; Tina Kisela, past president; Kelly Berfield, Esq., director at large. Completing the final year of their two year terms are; Kate Durso, secretary; Jessica Gentile, director-at-large; Cynthia Merritt, CPA, treasurer; and Pam Morris, corresponding secretary. ■
