Onaj u Njujorku! Vatromet?
New Year’s Eve fireworks displays are a tradition that seems to transcend all international borders. Chances are that, wherever you find yourself on New Year’s Eve, you will be within earshot of some lo- cal fireworks. However, you can’t see them all, so we suggest that you choose - New York! It’s hard to beat Times Square, NYC, for the atmosphere that pre- vails on New Year’s Eve. If you can’t be there in person, it is always fea- tured on TV as it is undoubtedly one of the world’s most famous New Year’s Eve parties. The streets and squares are crowded with people cel- ebrating New Year’s Eve with complete strangers. The famous count- down to the dropping of the sparkling crystal ball is a momentous oc- casion. As it drops, the sky lights up with a colourful show. The best places from which to view the fireworks are Battery Park and Wagner Park – that is if you can’t squeeze into Times Square itself. Čuveno odbrojavanje do spuštanja svetlu- cave kristalne kugle je tradicija koja se ne pro- pušta ako ste u Velikoj jabuci. Dok se spušta, nebo je obasjano živopisnom svetlosnom pred- stavom, a najbolja mesta za uživanje u vatro- metu su Bateri park i Vagner park – ako već ne možete da se ugurate na sam Tajms skver.
