The 2025/26 Tasmanian Summer Racing Festival has showcased the joys of racehorse ownership and the quality of horses produced by the annual Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale. Durazzo, Mazzini, Sanniya and Aristopolos are all Tasmanian Magic Millions Sale graduates who have dominated the summer with feature race success, taking their respective big groups of owners on a brilliant ride in the process. “There are a lot of people in this horse that haven’t had a good horse,” said John Blacker, trainer of Aristopolos, after his win in the $125,000 Listed Kevin Sharkie Elwick Stakes in Hobart on 25 January. Aristopolos was purchased for $60,000 and has since won more than $162,000 in prize money over his first three starts.
