From 23 rd to 27 th January on Mećavnik Hill
The Kustendorf Film and Music Festival of celebrated film director Emir Kusturica will take place in Mokra Gora once again this January Winter fairy tale for all film lovers T he scene has been set. On a snow-covered hill in the wooden village that was built by Emir Kusturica for the needs of his film Life is a Miracle, and to which he subse- quently added accommodation in the style of mountain chalets, restaurants, bars, cinemas and various unusual structures. Everything is ready for another instalment of the Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival, or more precisely for its 17 th edition, which will be held from 23 rd to 27 th January. The festival was founded in 2008 with the idea of bringing together in one place greats of contempo- rary auteur film and up & coming young filmmakers. The festival’s Competition Programme is dedicated to showcasing short films, with additional programmes that include screenings of feature films from contem- porary production around the world, retrospectives of cinematic luminaries, workshops, exhibitions and concerts. It is one of the few festivals anywhere in the world where exchanges of energy between young and experienced artists are visible at every turn. Kustendorf has to date welcomed many renowned directors, actors and musicians, and it is often ranked among the world’s best festivals according to the most popular film portals, thanks largely to its outstand- ing atmosphere. Surrounded by forested hills, Drvengrad [mean- ing Woodtown] represents a wonderful base to en- joy winter fun, without big crowds. And everything there symbolises film, though there are so many oth- er things that you will find truly amazing in this area between the mountains of Tara and Zlatibor, even if you don’t come because of your love of the cinema.

Od 23. do 27. januara na Mećavniku Zimska bajka za sve ljubitelje filma Filmski i muzički festival „Kustendorf“, proslavljenog reditelja Emira Kusturice, održaće se i ovog januara na Mokroj Gori
filma i mlade filmske stvaraoce. Takmičarski program festivala posvećen je prikazivanju kratkometražnih filmova, sa dodatnim programima koji uključuju pro- jekcije dugometražnih filmova iz savremene svetske produkcije, retrospektive velikih autora, radionice, izložbe i koncerte. Jedan je od retkih festivala na sve- tu na kojima je na svakom koraku vidljiva razmena energije mladih i iskusnih umetnika. „Kustendorf“ je dosad ugostio mnoge renomirane reditelje, glumce i muzičare, a zbog izuzetne atmosfe- re, prema mišljenju najposećenijih filmskih portala, često se nalazi među najboljim svetskim festivalima. Okružen šumovitim brdima, Drvengrad predstavlja divnu osnovu za zimsku zabavu, bez velike gužve. Tu je sve u znaku filma, mada između Tare i Zlatibora ima toliko mnogo stvari koje će vas istinski zadiviti. Čak i ako ne dolazite zato što volite film.
S cena je postavljena. I to na snegom prekri- venom brdu u drvenom selu koje je podi- gao Emir Kusturica za svoj film „Život je čudo“, pa dodao sobe u stilu planinskih ku- cica, restorane, barove, bioskope i razne neobične objekte. Sve je spremno za još jedan Me- đunarodni filmski i muzički festival „Kustendorf“, tačnije za njegovo sedamnaesto izdanje koje će se održati od 23. do 27. januara. Festival je osnovan 2008. godine sa idejom da na jednom mestu okupi velikane savremenog autorskog
