Each December sees the experts of the Pantone Col- our Institute consider the kinds of trends that are reigning supreme in the worlds of high fashion, interi- or design and pop culture, but also human psychology, and from there they extract a global tone trend that will colour the world around us in the year ahead. For 2024, that tone is 13-1023, a gentle peach colour that Pantone experts describe as warm, soft and very tactile. “We feel that, at a time like this, tactil- ity is really important — to touch other people and gather them into our homes… We’re going through a lot of turmoil in our lives and we need a colour that’s nurturing. We think of peach as being a signifi- cantly nostalgic colour. More fre- quently a woman’s colour, yet it has been adapted and gathered in- to men’s wardrobes and surround- ings… Peach fuzz awakens a sense of belonging, inspiring reunion and mutual care,” says Pantone Insti- tute Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman. Capturing the state of the collective mood, even in an at- mosphere of confusion and anxiety, is sovereign territory for Pantone experts, so you should place your trust in them and surround your- self with this warm peach shade. Stručnjaci Instituta za boje „Panton“ svakog de- cembra razmatraju kakvi trendo- vi vladaju u visokoj modi, diza- jnu enterijera, pop kulturi, ali i ljudskoj psihologiji, oblikujući na osnovu toga globalni trend kojim će u nastupajućoj godini obojiti svet oko nas.
