Elvis možda nije fizički među nama, ali svakako nije otišao. Nakon filma Baza Lurmana stiže još jedna priča o kralju rokenrola, ovoga puta iz ženskog ugla, mnogo drugačijeg senzibiliteta. Ništa neobično, jer se rediteljskog posla uhva- tila fantastična Sofija Kopola, koja je adaptira- la knjigu „Elvis i ja“ Prisile Prisli na osnovu koje je i snimljen film. Premijeru je imao na Film- skom festivalu u Veneciji u prisustvu same Pri- sile, koja je plakala posle projekcije. – Veoma je teško sedeti i gledati film o sebi, o svom životu, o svojoj ljubavi. Sofija je napravi- la odličan film. Uradila je domaći, pričale smo nekoliko puta i stvarno sam joj rekla sve što sam mogla – rekla je Prisila.Film bi trebalo da stigne u bioskope 3. novembra. Elvis might not be among us physically, but he certainly hasn’t departed. Following Baz Luhr- mann’s film comes another story about the king of rock ‘n’ roll, this time from a woman’s per- spective, and with a starkly different sensibility. This is nothing out of the ordinary, given that the directing job was taken on by the fantastic Sofia Coppola, who also adapted Priscilla Pres- ley’s book Elvis and Me, on which this film is based. It had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which was even attended by Priscilla herself, who cried following the screening. “It’s very diffi- cult to sit and watch a film about you, about your life, about your love. Sofia did an amazing job. She did her homework. We spoke a couple of times and I really put everything out for her that I could.” The film is set to hit cinemas on 3 rd November.
